50 years ago today our school opened for the first time on 1st September 1972. Back then it was known as Claudy Central Primary School and was an amalgamation of Claudy Primary School in the village and three small schools of Gortilea, Altahoney and Kilgort. Here is a photo of the Y1s from 1972 and also Mrs Boyd and Marie who started school in Y4 in that day!
